"ideological criticism"

This picture shows on one side a man with arms covered with tattoos and looks to be like someone who has made poor decisions in life and is most likely just kind of a punk.  Next to him is the same person wearing a doctors jacket that covers the tattoos, you see that he is a doctor and you assume that this guy must be really smart, made good decisions in life and is successful.

What this says to me is that we are way too quick to judge people for some of the decisions they have made in life, without really knowing at all anything about them.  We see one minor thing about them that we deem to be wrong or offensive and then we decide that this person must be a bad person, but if we dug a little dipper we might find ourselves with a new opinion.  The saying don't judge a book by its cover comes to mind when i see this.
